This course is required under DfT regulations for those who work in the office or warehouse of a Known Consignor who have access to Secure Air Cargo.
Drivers transporting consignments from the known consignor to a regulated agent are also required to have this training.
The objective of the course, as specified by the DfT, is to ensure that all persons who have access to secure air cargo or mail understand their role and responsibilities in relation to keeping air cargo and mail secure.

Cargo Aviation Security Principles (CASP)
for Warehouse and General staff
This course is for those who work in the office or warehouse of a Regulated Agent, have access to Secure Air Cargo, and are required under DfT regulations to have general security awareness training.
The course covers the modules specified by the DfT, including The Threat to Aviation, Aviation security–organisation and legislation, Protecting air cargo–Warehouse, and Reacting to and reporting of suspicious circumstances and security incidents.
