Before registering your candidate please ensure any person undergoing initial or recurrent training in accordance with the DfT syllabus must have successfully completed a background/pre-employment check and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check, as appropriate. It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that the above checks have been completed for each candidate and that they are employed, or have been assigned a role with an aviation security responsibility, prior to undertaking any training. By registering your employee for this course you are acknowledging, and confirming adherence to this above eligibility statement. Furthermore, you will be required to declare eligibility at the point of registration.
This level of training should only be delivered where it is relevant to the candidates air cargo security responsibilities. Anyone not recruited in accordance with Chapter 11 of EU 2015/1998 (as retained in UK law) must not be given access to this information.
In accordance with EU 2015/1998 (as retained in UK law) and UK Aviation Security regulation, it is an offence for the course and exam to be completed by anyone other than the registered candidate. Records must be kept and produced upon request, by the CAA, to evidence; (i) completion of the course and exam by the registered candidate and (ii) the name of the supervising responsible person.
